Engineered or solid hardwood for Vancouver homes?

For most Lower Mainland homes — especially over concrete or with radiant heat — engineered hardwood is the better long-term choice. It’s more stable in our humid coastal climate. Solid hardwood is still excellent for above-grade installations in traditional homes.

How long until I can walk on new floors?

You can usually walk on glue-down and nail-down installations the same day. Floating LVP and laminate are walkable immediately. Tile typically needs 24 hours before light foot traffic.

Do you move furniture?

Yes — we handle furniture moving, baseboard removal, old floor demo, disposal, and threshold transitions as part of the quote.
